New cosmetic trend – clown contouring technique

Face shaping, also know as face contouring, is a fairly popular trend among women who value pretty appearance and who, in general, do everything to look appealing. Quite recently, face shaping has reached its new, higher level. Why? So far, all that was applied in order to contour one’s face, were two shades of a concealer’s or a bronze and a blusher. However, nowadays, there is this trend of putting on the face several colour cosmetics of various shades. Certainly, it takes some time to create the desired effect, nevertheless, the outcomes are marvelous and outstanding. Such a manner of face contouring has its peculiar name – clown contouring. What are the grounds of this ‘circus’ make-up?

Let us start with explaining what are the reasons for clown contouring performance. Firstly, in this manner, we cover all skin imperfections and gain the effect of oval face. Worth mentioning, oval face is the ideal shape of a face, such as, an hourglass shape is the perfect body shape. While modeling face, we cover dark circles under eyes, discolourations and acne marks. What is more, we hide also the double chin, pointy or big nose, dropping eyelids and wide forehead. Furthermore, more and more women want to have, or even are dying to have, the flawless and perfect look so have their idols from TV series or the ones from covers of the magazines. After all, you are not cool unless you wear heavy make-up.

How to perform clown contouring? To shape your face in this manner, you will need several cosmetics and either make-up sponges of brushes. Moreover, you have to prepare make-up foundations, blushers and bronzers of various shades. Important to mention, all product have to be of liquid consistency. In order to apply all the cosmetics, use thick and flat make-up brushes. Smudging and blending will be possible due to wide make-up brushes and make-up sponges. To make a long story short, start with applying the cosmetics characterized by theirs bright shade. Next, cover your cheeks with blusher. At the end, add bronzers or concealers of the darkest shades. What is most important in clown contouring is the cunning blending of all-applied products, in such a way, to create one, flawless gradient coat of the cosmetics. In other word, you cannot leave a spot where your friend could detect a mark standing off the rest of your cosmetic face-layer. Certainly, nobody would like to wear uneven mask-like effect on one’s face.

Unfortunately, face shaping using clown contouring technique has several disadvantages. Firstly, you do really require a great number of cosmetics of high quality, matching your skin type and season. Secondly, you need make-up accessories which have to be systematically cleaned. Thirdly, to remove such a make-up, you have to use several effective lotions, liquids or other aggressive preparations. Fourthly, straight after make-up removal, you have to purify your face skin thoroughly and take care of it in such a way to do not expose it to irritations and skin diseases because of heavy clown contouring.
