Are you looking for the best anti-redness face serum? You’ve come to the right place! By reading on you’ll find products that go well with my redness-prone complexion. Naturally we’re all different and what works for me doesn’t need to work for you, but you must agree that rosacea skin is blushed, over-sensitive and has visible spider veins nearly all the time. The serums from my list help handle such issues and do much more. Enjoy reading. <3

Rosacea-prone skin is very moody and hard to please! It is bothered by the sudden changes of temperature, wind or even air-conditioning. We know one thing for sure: we, who suffer from red, oversensitive skin, don’t have an easy life. Thankfully, there are some ways to improve it. Check out mine!
- I drink at least 2 liters of water every day
- I cut down on spicy food as much as I could
- I quit smoking
- I use only mild and natural skincare
- I choose enzyme exfoliants
- I apply an SPF 50 moisturizer every morning (even if it’s cloudy)
- I use an anti-redness serum twice a day to improve the skin and make it look better fast
Check out the serum that goes best with my skin. Each product from the list gave me benefits but there’s just one winner.
BEST OF THE BEST
Nanoil, Anti-Redness Face Serum
Rating: 10/10

I felt like giving up on all my skincare products as soon as I got Nanoil’s serum. I rarely find an item that impresses me so much. I’ve heard good things about Nanoil many times and finally decided to give it a try. The redness-reducing serum isn’t the only one I bought so you can count on some more reviews. Let’s go back to the serum, though! I like the light and smooth consistency which sinks in fully and doesn’t leave any residue on the face. Nanoil serum comes in a 50-ml bottle with a dropper giving a proper amount of the product. I use it either twice a day or just in the morning. Let’s move on to the key thing now, that is the effect. This product proved the most effective for reducing my broken capillaries. They faded quickly. The same happened to the redness and other imperfections I’d been fighting for many years. On top of that, my skin is no longer as vulnerable to the external conditions so it doesn’t go red as easily as it used to. Nanoil Anti-Redness Face Serum works super fast: skin looks better and is relieved right after application. All these benefits made Nanoil my favorite.

Dr. Jart+, Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum
Rating: 9/10

A treat for those whose skin is prone to broken capillaries and very sensitive. My face is like that so this serum is a must in the round up. The intense green color was the first thing that surprised me. I can guarantee: it won’t leave your face green! The pigments lessen the redness. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum is easy to use and doesn’t leave any residue. I don’t feel its weight at all. If your face is overly blushed, then this serum makes an excellent soothing agent in an emergency. That’s when I reach for it. The product additionally builds a protective barrier on the skin making it more resistant to outside factors. It helps reduce inflammation but takes more time to do that. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum does better when it’s used together with a moisturizer from the same line. The Dr. Jart+ products – including the serum – are budget-friendly and easily accessible.
The Ordinary, Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%
Rating: 8.5/10

I’m sure I don’t need to introduce this brand to anyone. I tested many of their products and almost each one has stayed with me, for example this serum! Surprisingly, it wasn’t love at first use! The first application intensified the burning sensation that I’d been trying to get rid of (contrary to Dr. Jart+ or Nanoil serums which brought instant relief) so I stopped using it. After some time I decided to give it a second chance and it was a good thing because irritations never occurred again. Maybe the previous reaction was triggered because I used other vitamin C-based serum at that time. As far as effects go, I like to use it in the morning because it brings a beautiful glow that lasts all day. It’s just one of the benefits of course: the serum works by brightening pigmentation spots and improving the skin tone. I also read about its anti-wrinkle effect. The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% isn’t the most effective at reducing broken capillaries but I like to use it from time to time for the radiance and anti-aging effects.
Dior, Capture Youth Redness Soother
Rating: 8/10

I always dreamt of having at least one product by Dior. I couldn’t resist trying this serum! I bought it together with a cream from the same range because they’re said to do better together. Sometimes I put the serum on a clean face and follow with the cream, but my favorite way is mixing both before application (actually that’s what the manufacturer recommends). Such a blend sinks in quickly to make the skin look radiant all day. Dior Capture Youth Redness Soother is only 30 ml but lasts quite long. It’s the price that’s most shocking! Does the exorbitant price translate to stellar effects? Sadly not. It has a nice moisturizing effect and lessens redness, gradually evens the skin tone and slightly fades spider veins, however, other serums produce better effects. Dior Capture Youth Redness Soother is rich in antioxidants and delays the process of skin aging – like it! Summing up, it’s a cool serum which does well but I expected more from a product at this price range.
I think everyone can pick one serum from my list and it’s gonna work great. There are no flawless products but the four are close to perfection! I heartily recommend them because they really improve rosacea-prone skin. Nanoil is my number one and I reach for it most often.
I’m dying to know your face serums and remedies for red skin and broken capillaries! <3
